WHAT IS INTEGRAL?
Life as a Guitarist Just Got Easier! - Integral Close Mic to the Rescue!
SAM Systems IM12 Review
WHAT IS AN INTEGRAL?
It’s a microphone specifically designed to fit over a speaker inside any combo amp or speaker cabinet. It’s specifically designed for instruments.
HOW DO I KNOW IT’S FITTED IN THE CORRECT PLACE?
The super-cardioid dynamic mic is set ‘off-axis’ in the centre pod of the unit. This means it picks up the ‘sweet spot' every time.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
It sends the exact sound coming from the speaker to the PA/Front of house.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
INTEGRAL is easily fitted over the speaker inside the speaker cab.
Once it's fitted, you never have to worry about miking up your amp or speaker cab again. You’re going to be always miked and ready for any gig!
There will be no need to place microphones on stands or hanging them over the front of the cab. Those days are over!
By being fitted with an INTEGRAL, your set up time is hugely reduced.
Your sound will be delivered to the PA exactly as you want it. It’s analogue.
In other words, INTEGRAL sends the TRUE sound from your speaker to the PA.
INTEGRAL eliminates sound overspill from other mics, amps, drums etc. This also means the risk of feedback is greatly reduced.
Players performing in venues where space is limited no longer need large combo amps or speaker cabs and have mikes on stands taking up all the valuable space. Players can use much smaller combo amps with an INTEGRAL sending the sound to the PA and getting the clarity and volume as they need it.
In studios, time is money and the much faster set up times will mean reduced cost when hiring studio time.
Your sound engineer’s life just got easier and you know you are in control of the sound you are getting.
